Carbusters
Die Carbusters haben es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die internationale autofreie Bewegung aufzubauen und zu vernetzen. Ihre Projekte und Publikationen soll Menschen überall dort helfen, wo sich die Autokultur ausgebreitet hat und ihnen alternative Lebensmöglichkeiten aufzeigen.
Die Carbusters möchten den Informationsaustausch und die Kooperation zwischen Aktivisten und Kampganenleuten erleichtern, die Öffentlichkeit erreichen, neue Mitarbeiter gewinnen und die Welt ändern.
Ihre Arbeit umfasst ein internationales vierteljährliches Magazin, ein print und online Quellenarchiv, einen monatlichen Newsletter, eine weltweite Autofrei-Kampagne, eine internationale Online-Kontakt-Datenbank und autonome Buchveröffentlichen.
Am Anfang stehend: eine anonyme Autoholiker Gruppe und eine Konferenz für autofreie Innenstädte.

Our projects include an international quarterly magazine, a- and on-line resource centre, a monthly e-bulletin, an annualWorld Car-Free Days campaign, a worldwide on-line contact/database, independent book publishing, an up-start AutoholicsAnonymous programme, and periodic Towards Car-Free Cities conferences.
